Communication
Changes to communication can occur after a stroke, head injury, or other neurological condition. Speech and language therapy can help improve your ability to communicate.
Swallowing
Difficulty swallowing ("dysphagia") can affect your quality of life and health. Swallowing changes can occur after a stroke, head injury, due to a neurological condition, normal aging, or due to cancer. Swallowing therapy can improve safe eating and drinking and will be individualized to your needs.

Cognition
Changes in memory, attention, and problem solving can affect your ability to care for yourself or perform everyday tasks such as paying bills and staying organized. Cognitive therapy will address these deficits and can provide the tools necessary for improving your independence.
Oncology Care
Changes may occur in chewing and swallowing, cognition, voice, speech, and language due to head and neck cancer and cancer treatment. A comprehensive assessment prior to cancer treatment to provide education and tools necessary to improve your function throughout treatment and a course of speech therapy after completing cancer treatment is vital to a successful recovery.

What insurances are accepted?
Medicare, Medicare Advantage or insurance plans with Out-of-Network benefits, and private pay are accepted.
How many therapy sessions will I need?
This is different for each person and will be determined at your initial evaluation based on your individual needs.
How long are therapy sessions?
Sessions are 45-50 minutes in length.​
